On the shop floor, we always suggest using a deep layer—about 5cm to 7cm—to allow your pets to indulge in their natural burrowing instincts. Top Tip: For rabbits and guinea pigs, try topping these shavings with a layer of barley straw; the shavings handle the moisture, while the straw provides a warm, dry surface to sit on. Always remember to spot-clean daily to keep the environment as fresh as possible!
